Youth Frozen in Time, Legacy Passed Down | Chemistry Major Hosts 2026 Graduates' Group Photo and Symposium

On the afternoon of June 24th, a group photo and symposium for the 2026 graduating class of the Chemistry Department was successfully held. All the graduates of Chemistry 2201 and 2202 classes, along with the professional teachers, gathered on the campus, jointly captured the fleeting moments of youth and freely shared the insights of growth.

In the "Create the Sun" square in early summer, teachers and students took a group photo for commemoration. Department head Lu Yukun, deputy head Wang Shutao and Peng Zhihua, teaching expert Jiang Cuiyu, and class teacher Ma Lishuang of Chemistry 2202, and young teachers including Bi Jiahui, Ma Zhe, Zong Siyu, Qi Jiannan, Wang Rui, etc., also participated in the group photo together, witness the significant moment when students complete their studies, and record the wonderful times when teachers and students have grown together.

After the group photo, the teachers and students moved to Classroom 401 of the Comprehensive Building to hold a graduation symposium. The atmosphere of the symposium was relaxed and warm. Teachers and students sat together, discussing the future. At the symposium, the graduates spoke enthusiastically. In combination with the spring and autumn fruits of the past four years, they shared the fruitful results of postgraduate entrance examination and job hunting, the words convey a deep sense of gratitude for the meticulous nurturing by the alma mater and the teacher. The attending teachers listened attentively and in combination with the latest developments in the industry and the demands of the times, answering questions and providing guidance for the future plans of the graduates, encouraging them to strive unceasingly and bravely undertake the historical mission of chemists.

At the time of parting, the teachers offered heartfelt blessings to the students who were about to embark on their journey, they hope that everyone will always uphold the school's motto of "Only being true and practical", and keep in mind the responsibilities and commitments of the chemical faculty of Shandong University, with lofty ideals and a down-to-earth attitude, one can realize their life value through hard work. The chemistry graduates of 2026 will set off for their destinations across the land and sea, carrying the expectations of their alma mater with them, in this new journey, they will write the chapter of hard work belonging to the chemical engineers of Shida University.
