The Department of Environmental and Safety Engineering held a symposium for the 2026 graduating class of undergraduate students

On June 29th, a graduation meeting for the 2026 batch of undergraduate students from the Department of Environmental and Safety Engineering was held in a joyous atmosphere. All the students and teachers gathered together to recall the past youthful days and look forward to a bright future. This symposium was chaired by teacher Wang Yongqiang, with department head Li Shi, instructors Liu Yi, Chen Yongdong and Wang Pu, as well as various student representatives, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the teachers kindly inquired about the destinations and future studies or employment of each graduate. In light of the current situation of everyone, the teachers advised the students to base themselves on their own development positioning and, in combination with the industry development trends, rationally plan the future paths of further education and career development.

Subsequently, each student representative made a speech in turn, expressing their deep gratitude for the meticulous cultivation by the school and the teachers. The students also based on their four years university learning experiences, had an open and honest discussion with their teachers about the problems they encountered during their studies, and provided valuable suggestions for the optimization and improvement of the professional training plan.

At the end of the communication session, all the teachers in charge presented sincere words of encouragement to the graduates. Teacher Wang Yongqiang reviewed the four years of study and growth transformation of the students, and commended the efforts and achievements made by everyone in professional learning, scientific research practice, and the construction of academic style. Teacher Liu Yi earnestly reminded everyone that while striving and working hard, they must also take good care of their health, increase physical exercise and develop a good routine, remember that "the body is the capital of revolution." Finally, Teacher Li Shi encouraged all the graduates to remain true to their academic aspirations, maintain an enterprising spirit, and deepen their expertise in their field and work diligently in the future, with a positive and optimistic attitude, embrace new challenges and embark on a new journey of life.

This symposium is not only aimed at marking the successful conclusion of the undergraduate years for the students, what's more, it has built a bridge for the close communication and mutual trust between teachers and students. Through communication and anticipation, we have instilled in the graduates the motivation to strive forward, motivating the students to carry forward the expectations of their alma mater, set sail in the vast expanse of the future and forge ahead, writing a more glorious chapter of their life.
