The college has organized practical operation activities for teaching equipment in the new campus and a visit to the teaching buildings

In order to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of teaching activities in the new campus during the new semester, help teachers master the operation of modern teaching equipment and become familiar with the teaching environment of the new campus, on September 4, 2026, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering organized over 40 teachers to visit Room A125 of the Zhuoyue Teaching Building in the West District of Guzhenkou Campus, carry out an actual operation experience activity for multimedia teaching equipment in newly-built classrooms, and also conducted on-site visits to the excellent teaching buildings A and B, comprehensively strengthening the teaching support work for the new semester. President Liu Xinmei and Party Secretary Hao Zhijie attended the event.

At the event site, the multimedia equipment technicians first gave the participating teachers a detailed explanation of the composition, features and usage methods of the newly-built teaching equipment. Subsequently, the teachers had an immersive experience with the newly upgraded multimedia intelligent teaching equipment. Based on the actual teaching needs, everyone conducted practical exercises on various core functions such as turning on and off the equipment, playing courseware, high-definition screen projection, screen annotation, audio control, signal switching, and simultaneous teaching in both campuses, actively familiarize oneself with the equipment operation procedures and adapt to the smart classroom teaching mode. Regarding the operational difficulties and equipment compatibility issues encountered during the actual operation process, the teachers exchanged ideas, discussed together, and jointly explored and adjusted, carefully investigate all possible problems that may arise during classroom teaching, comprehensively enhance the practical operation capabilities of modern teaching equipment, and completely eliminate concerns about teaching caused by new equipment and new environments.

After the practical operation experience of multimedia equipment, all the teachers went to the A and B buildings of the Excellence Teaching Building for a field visit together. Everyone inspected the overall layout of the teaching building, the lighting in the classrooms, the furniture and equipment, the public facilities, and the access routes, etc., and get a detailed understanding of the functional zoning of the building, the site planning, and the situation of the supporting service facilities. Taking into account the actual teaching scenarios such as one's own course schedule, classroom teaching, and teacher-student interaction, the teachers carefully inspected the teaching venue environment, propose targeted optimization suggestions and comprehensively and three-dimensionally familiarize oneself with the overall situation of the new campus' teaching facilities.

This practical operation experience and visiting investigation activity was practical, efficient and highly targeted, effectively helping college teachers quickly familiarize themselves with the teaching hardware facilities and teaching environment in the western area of Guzhenkou Campus, master proficiently the operation skills of intelligent teaching equipment, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of teaching work in the new campus in the new semester.
