Caring for the Relocation Journey, Warming the Hearts of Huayuan People

As the relocation of the Chemical Engineering College to the Guzhenkou campus progresses steadily, faculty and staff responded enthusiastically to the call, with a high sense of responsibility and great enthusiasm, one devoted themselves to the arduous relocation task. In order to express our gratitude for everyone's hard work, effectively convey the college's care to every member of the faculty and staff, on July 9th, the Union of the Chemical Engineering Department organized a special visit and consolation activity titled "Caring for the Migrant Workers, Warmth for the Employees of the Chemical Engineering Department", we sent them coolness and warmth to the staff members who were working hard on the relocation front.

On the day of the event, Sun Yudong, the chairman of the Chemistry Department's labor union, and the other union committee members went to the relocation site in person, deliver the carefully prepared consolation gifts to the staff members. Meanwhile, the union also prepared mineral water and other beverages for each department to provide for the staff to drink during the hot summer days. Every time they went to a new place, the trade union representatives would have friendly conversations with everyone, inquire in detail about the progress of the relocation, the arrangements for work and life, as well as the actual difficulties encountered. We highly praised the selfless dedication and excellent teamwork spirit demonstrated by everyone during the relocation process.

This visitation activity not only provided material support, but also offered spiritual encouragement. The staff members all expressed that the relocation work was hectic and demanding, however, the care from the college made everyone feel extremely warm and full of energy. In the upcoming work, we will continue to carry forward the "rigorous, pragmatic and innovative" spirit of the faculty of Chemical Engineering, overcoming difficulties and successfully completing the relocation task, with a brand-new appearance and an energetic spirit, the new campus has begun a new chapter in teaching and research.

The Union of the Chemical Engineering Department will continue to closely monitor the subsequent relocation work and regularly carry out caring services, strive to create a favorable atmosphere of "enjoyable work and healthy life", and pool powerful strength for the high-quality development of the college.
