On the morning of January 21st, a delegation from Yuanli Chemical Group Co., Ltd. visited and exchanged views at the college.The meeting was held in Conference Room 121 of Building A of the Engineering Building, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as the coordinated development of industry-university-research, talent cultivation and scientific research cooperation, jointly planning new paths for school-enterprise cooperation. Wang Qinbo, the Deputy General Manager for Strategic Development and R&D of Yuanli Chemical, Wang Ping, the Deputy General Manager for Human Resources, Wang Fei, the Human Resources Supervisor, Xu Guanghui, the deputy secretary of the Party committee of the college, Xia Wei, a professor of the Applied Chemistry Department, Chen Kun, Associate professor, as well as counselors Dou Yaqin, Xue Hui, and Liu Wei participated in this exchange activity.

At the meeting, both parties jointly watched the promotional videos of the enterprise and the college. Xu Guanghui provided a detailed account of the development history of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the construction of its research platforms, the faculty strength, and the achievements in student education. He stated that the research directions of the college in areas such as applied chemistry and waste resource recycling and utilization are highly consistent with the industrial layout of Yuanli Chemical, having a solid foundation for cooperation. Subsequently, Wang Ping systematically introduced the company's core products, industrial layout and development strategy. She pointed out that Yuanli Chemical is continuously expanding its new development strategies and entering emerging fields such as high-value-added materials, and is in urgent demand for highly qualified R&D personnel and technical management personnel. During the communication session, General Manager Wang Qinbo further elaborated on the specific plans of the company regarding technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and expressed a strong willingness to carry out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with the college. He proposed that measures such as joint application of research projects, establishment of joint training programs between the institute and enterprises, and enterprise visits and internships could be adopted, promoting technological research and development as well as the transformation of achievements, and enhancing the company's reputation. Xu Guanghui stated that the college will actively establish cooperation platforms, enhance the interaction between enterprises and colleges, and increase the influence of the enterprise among students by organizing students to participate in practical work in enterprises, conducting joint training between schools and enterprises, and holding special recruitment events, etc., thereby delivering more high-quality talents who are "usable, retainable and well-developed" to enterprises.
