The Domestic Investment Promotion Center of the West Coast New Area of Qingdao visited our institute to carry out cooperation and exchange activities

On the morning of January 12th, a group of four people led by Wang Quanfang, the director of the Domestic Investment Promotion Center of the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, visited our institute, the discussion focused on topics such as school-government-enterprise cooperation and the transformation of research outcomes. The meeting was chaired by Dean Liu Xinmei, Associate Dean Hu Han, Director of the Professor Committee Liu Dong, Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering Li Chuan, Director of the Department of Chemistry Lu Yukun, Professor Qiao Yingyun from the National Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, Professor Wang Yanzhen from the Department of Applied Chemistry, and others participated in the symposium.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Liu Xinmei warmly welcomed the arrival of Director Wang Quanfang and his team, and introduced the basic situation of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in terms of its historical development, research progress, platform construction, and technology transfer. Director Wang Quanfang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the college, and explained the background and objectives of this visit. Subsequently, the participating teachers successively presented the achievements and progress of their respective research fields. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on specific issues such as the implementation of teachers' achievements in the West Coast New Area and project emergency management, jointly explored solutions, and it is unanimously agreed that efforts should be made to further enhance the collaborative efforts among the school, enterprises and the government, achieve complementary advantages and achieve win-win cooperation.

This exchange has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent in-depth cooperation between the two parties, it is conducive to promoting the sharing and coordinated development of resources among schools, enterprises and the government, jointly contributing to the progress of the chemical industry in the West Coast New Area.

The Domestic Investment Promotion Center of Qingdao West Coast New Area is a subordinate public institution of the district， mainly responsible for attracting investment promotion work in the domestic market, which located at No. 987, Lijiang West Road, Huangdao District, Qingdao City. The center has established 8 departments, including the General Affairs Department and departments for East China, Central South, North China, West China, Project Services, Headquarters Economic Promotion, and Listed Company Promotion, the main responsibilities include the introduction, negotiation, signing, application, project approval and related service coordination for domestic investment projects.
