The college visited enterprises in Weifang to expand job opportunities

On November 27, to further advance the "Visiting Enterprises to Expand Employment Opportunities" initiative, strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, and enhance alumni engagement, the School of Chemical Engineering (SChE) promoted the high-quality development of its core work. Hao Zhijie, Secretary of the Party Committee, Jin Xin, Vice Dean, and Xu Guanghui, Deputy Party Secretary, visited NHU Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Weifang Binhai New Area) and Tiande Chemical Holdings Limited (TCHL), and held a symposium with alumni working in Weifang.  

At NHU Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hao Zhijie and his team learned about the company’s development history and product range, visited its R&D Department and production facilities, exchanged ideas with Fan Jinhao, General Manager, and Meng Jianbo, Deputy General Manager of NHU Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and reached a cooperation intention on scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation.

At Tiande Chemical Holdings Limited (TCHL), Hao Zhijie and his team visited Tiande Chemical Binhai Petrochemical Company. During the alumni symposium, after learning about the enterprise’s basic operations and the development of alumni, they solicited opinions from the enterprise and a broad range of alumni on talent cultivation.

This visit has not only strengthened the ties between the School of Chemical Engineering (SChE) and the enterprises, but also laid a solid foundation for both parties in areas such as future talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and industry-university-research integration. The School will continue to uphold the philosophy of "open education and win-win cooperation," advance the full-staff "Visiting Enterprises to Expand Employment Opportunities" initiative, actively carry out multi-level and diversified cooperation and exchanges with enterprises, and cultivate more high-quality chemical engineering professionals to contribute to the development of the chemical industry.
