The college achieved a historic breakthrough in the Fifth National College Student Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition

On August 24th, the final of the Fifth National College Student Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition was successfully held. The college students made their first entry into the national finals and won the second prize, achieving a historic breakthrough for our school in this competition.

The National College Student Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition is co-hosted by the Chemical Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education and the Joint Association of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers. This year's competition has attracted 1,364 teams from 482 universities across the country，The preliminary round was divided into seven regional competitions, hosted in Northeast, North, East, Central, South, Northwest, and Southwest China，After fierce competition, 91 teams advanced to the national finals.

The college continues to promote the construction of a multi-dimensional collaborative experimental teaching mechanism，A scientific research training system integrating basic, comprehensive and research-oriented experiments, scientific research innovation, and practical training and practice has been established，Open up research platforms, research projects and instruments/equipment to undergraduate students，Focusing on strengthening students' experimental foundation，Enhance students' innovative practical abilities. The competition is concurrently hosting the 2025 National Conference on Chemistry Experiment Teaching in Universities，Associate Professor Zhou Ting from the Chemistry Department of the college was invited to deliver a special report titled "The 'Multidimensional Synergy' Experimental Teaching System Facilitating the Cultivation of Talented Chemists".
