Chen Qiang won the top prize of Professional Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition in the third National Undergraduate College-Level Chemical Engineering

Recently, Professional Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition of the third National Undergraduate College-Level Chemical Engineering, organized by the China Chemical Education Association and hosted by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, came to a successful conclusion. The young teacher Chen Qiang from our university's College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has won the top prize and made a new breakthrough in this competition.

This competition focuses on the teaching reform and practice of core courses in chemical engineering disciplines, aiming to comprehensively enhance the teaching capabilities of teachers, and promote the construction of a strong educational nation and the high-quality development of higher education. The competition attracted 99 teachers from 59 universities across the country, including Tianjin University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, and Ocean University of China. After online evaluation, 32 contestants from 24 universities advanced to the on-site final round. Ultimately, 12 special awards and 19 first prizes were awarded.

Teacher Chen Qiang, relying on the "Chemical Safety and Environmental Protection" course and with his solid professional knowledge and innovative teaching design, stood out among many contestants. This demonstrates the excellent teaching level of our school's teachers and showcases the achievements of the college in continuously promoting educational and teaching reforms and strengthening the construction of first-class undergraduate courses. In the future, the college will continue to improve the teacher development support system, actively build diverse growth platforms for young teachers, and continuously enhance the quality of talent cultivation.
