The college visited universities and enterprises in Tianjin for exchange and learning

On April 25th and 26th, Zhang Yongning, Party Secretary of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, along with Deputy Party Secretary Xu Guanghui and several counselors, visited Sinopec Fourth Construction Company and the School of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University. They conducted exchanges and discussions on Party building, talent cultivation, and employment-related work.

Liu Hui, General Manager of Sinopec Fourth Construction Company, introduced the company's development history and an overview of its business segments. Feng Nan, Director of the Human Resources Department, elaborated on the company's recruitment policies, including employee benefits and career development pathways.Liu Hui expressed hope that both the university and the enterprise could further expand collaboration areas and deepen cooperation to cultivate and recruit more outstanding graduates.Zhang Yongning provided an overview of the college's recent developments, talent cultivation efforts, and its practices in implementing the Central Eight-Point Regulation on improving Party and government conduct. He expressed gratitude for the company's support in the college's growth and proposed further collaboration, including inviting senior experts from Sinopec Fourth Construction to the college to promote integrated development in Party building, employment, and other areas.

Zhang Yongning and his delegation held an exchange session with alumni representatives from the college who are currently pursuing graduate studies at the School of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University.During the meeting, the students shared their academic progress and career plans with the visiting faculty leaders. Zhang Yongning expressed his warmth at seeing the students again and introduced the college's talent recruitment policies, high-quality research platforms, and disciplinary development directions. He inquired about their research interests, offered suggestions for their future development, and emphasized that the college's leadership and faculty are committed to supporting graduates' lifelong growth.Before concluding, he affectionately invited the students to "come home often" and stay connected with their alma mater.

Wang Huaiyuan, Party Secretary of the School of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University, Deputy Party Secretary Jin Xuefeng, and other faculty members held a symposium with the visiting delegation.Jin Xuefeng introduced the development history, Party-building initiatives, and distinctive practices of Tianjin University's School of Chemical Engineering, along with notable case studies in student affairs.Zhang Yongning presented the college’s "One-Two-Three-Six" Party-building framework and its branded initiatives in Party-led education, expressing hope for joint collaboration and consolidation of strengths to lay the groundwork for both institutions to become national exemplars in Party-building at the school level.Xu Guanghui shared the college’s recent achievements in talent cultivation and employment. Both sides also engaged in discussions on strengthening counselor teams, cultivating student leaders, and developing "one-stop" student community services.

This research visit to universities and enterprises in Tianjin has broadened our perspectives on Party building, talent cultivation, and employment initiatives for our college. We will continue to uphold our open and collaborative approach to education, strengthening exchanges and cooperation with leading universities and enterprises. Through these efforts, we aim to pool more resources and synergies to cultivate top-tier innovative talents in the energy and chemical engineering fields.
