Our postdoctoral fellows won excellent results in the 2024 China · Shandong Doctor (post) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Recently, Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security announced the finalists of the 2024 China · Shandong Doctor (Post) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, our school won 2 gold awards, 6 silver awards, 12 bronze awards, 9 winners, Chen Yongdong of our school won the silver award, Ren Zhongfei, Wang Pu won the bronze award.

Chen Yongdong is a lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, China University of Petroleum (East China), and a young expert of Taishan Scholars in Shandong Province. He has long been dedicated to the study and implementation of low-carbon environmental pollution treatment, waste resource usage, and water pollution control and resource use. At present, he has published 10 SCI papers as the first author, and obtained 10 Chinese invention patents as the main inventor.

Ren Zhongfei is currently engaged in postdoctoral research in the Postdoctoral Research Center of Chemical Engineering and Technology in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of our University. Her co-supervisor is Professor Liu Fang. Dr. Ren Zhongfei has long been dedicated in the research of environmental functional materials, and is committed to the treatment of new pollutants in water (PPCPs, PFAS). He has published more than 20 papers, including 9 papers published in English as the first author, and applied for 1 invention patent as the main inventor, and has authorized 1. He has won the National Gold Medal of the 8th "Challenge Cup" National College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, and the National Bronze Award of the 8th and 9th China International "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Wang Pu, Ph.D., Harbin Institute of Technology, is currently engaged in research in the postdoctoral research Center of Chemical Engineering and Technology in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of our university. His postdoctoral supervisor is Professor Liu Fang. He has carried out theoretical research and technical innovation in the direction of recycling waste water. He presided over the China Postdoctoral Foundation Project and the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, and published 14 SCI papers, including 5 as the first author.

Under the sponsorship by the Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, with the theme of "Attracting talents to lead the Future", the competition aims to focus on the introduction and training of young postdoctoral talents, promote the integration of industry-university-research and the transformation of scientific research results, cultivate a reserve army of young scientific and technological talents with international competitiveness, and prepare for the development of new quality productivity. The competition is divided into two stages, the preliminary and final, set up the opening title race (including talent recruitment and technology research 2 categories), entrepreneurship 2 groups, each group set up a new generation of information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, biomedicine and health, modern agriculture and food, Marine development and application and other 6 tracks. Each track has 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards and 8 bronze awards. Gold award bonus of 50,000 yuan, silver award bonus of 20,000 yuan, bronze award bonus of 10,000 yuan, while the person in charge of the gold award project directly issued the "Shandong Huicai Card", providing 29 green channel services in the province.
