The biological humic acid soil improvement demonstration project of Professor Tian Yuanyu's team was successfully accepted

On October 11, a group of experts from the Cultivated Land Quality Monitoring and Protection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Intellectual Property Office, the Department of Agriculture and Pastoral Affairs of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Tongliao Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other departments tested and accepted the biohumic acid soil improvement demonstration project of Kezuohouqi - College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of China University of Petroleum (East China).

After multi-point sampling, weighing, testing and questioning of the project team, the expert group believed that the experimental design of saline-alkali land improvement and planting rice is reasonable, and the effect of increasing production and income is obvious. The mu application of humic acid soil amendment 150, 200, 250 kg, and the improved planting of rice are compared with the blank control without the amendment. The

 yield per mu increased from 302.68 kg to 659.85 kg, 650.75 kg and 631.69 kg, respectively, with yield increases of 118.00%, 115.00% and 108.70%. Compared with conventional fertilization control, the increase was 17.54%, 15.92% and 12.52%, respectively. After the improvement, the soil aggregate structure and organic matter content were significantly improved, and the pH of the soil was significantly adjusted, showing a good improvement effect, which could make the saline-alkali soil change, plant and benefit in the same year. It is suggested to further reduce the cost, expand the area of popularization and application, and play an active role in the protection of black land in northeast China.

On October 14, Academician Hao Fang, Vice President Zhang Lingling, and Guo Tianbao, secretary of the Flag Committee of Ke Zuohou Banner, conducted a field investigation of the demonstration project of "biological humic acid soil improvement", and listened to Professor Tian Yuanyu's report on project promotion, production measurement, and follow-up tests. Hao Fang highly praised of the demonstration project and put forward three requirements for the follow-up of the project. First, it is necessary to do a good job in the detection of the physical and chemical properties and structure of the improved soil, and strengthen the long-term monitoring of changes in the nature of land improvement; The second is to increase publicity and promotion efforts, so that the results better serve the society; Third, it is necessary to further reduce the cost of use, crack the problem of green straw returning to the field and sustainable improvement of cultivated land, and make more contributions to strengthening the protection of cultivated land and ensuring national food security.

Kezuohouqi - China University of Petroleum (East China) biological humic acid soil Improvement Demonstration project by Professor Tian Yuanyu's team relying on the second prize of National Technological invention project "Rapid pyrolysis of typical agricultural and forestry wastes to create humic acid environmental materials and its application", according to the characteristics of Kezuohouqi soil desertification, salinization and organic matter barren. Using biological humic acid as the main raw material to create soil remediation agent and plant rice, explore the best scheme suitable for the improvement and management of degraded cultivated land in the region, and provide theoretical and technical support for green straw return to the field, green and low-cost soil restoration and productivity improvement. The project implementation site is Bahuta hemu root Gacha, Kezuohou Banner, and the implementation demonstration scale is 60 acres.

The biological humic acid soil improvement project developed by Professor Tian Yuanyu's team, through the study of the improvement mechanism of the correlation and coupling between soil capillary phenomenon and the law of water and salt transport in saline-alkali soil, proposed for the first time a new method of pelletizing humic acid in saline-alkali soil and ecological sustainable improvement, which solved the saline-alkali problem from the source. After the targeted humic acid modifier is sprayed on the surface of salinized soil and mixed with the surface soil by a rotary tiller, humic acid can react with calcium, iron and magnesium ions in the soil to form a binder, promoting the formation of water-stable aggregates of 20-30cm fine soil on the surface to >0.25mm, reducing the soil capillary phenomenon and preventing the salt carried by capillary water to the surface to form salinization. At the same time, the effect of rainfall and irrigation and salt washing is strengthened to achieve the benefit of changing the planting in the same year, and the cost is less than 30% of the existing technology. In addition, humic acid can promote the metabolism of microorganisms in the soil so as to supplement a steady stream of new humic acid, restore the soil self-repair ability, and realize the sustainable improvement of saline-alkali land.
