First Round Announcement

The 16th Global Chinese Chemical Scholars Symposium will be held in China Railway Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition City on August 11-14, 2024 (the main venue). The conference was jointly organized by China University of Petroleum (East China) and China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and co-organized by Soochow University, Qingdao Safety Engineering Research Institute of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Limited and Ningbo Eastern University of Technology. We sincerely invite scholars and experts to come and reminisce about the past and talk about the future with old and new friends.

Global Chinese Chemical Engineers Symposium (GCCES) is an international academic conference that gathers global experts and scholars in the field of chemical industry, which was initiated and organized by distinguished Professor Zhu Jingxu from the University of Western Ontario and other Chinese chemical scholars at home and abroad in 2009. It aims to jointly explore the frontier issues of international education, scientific research and industrial application in chemical engineering and related fields, disseminate chemical knowledge and technology, promote international exchanges and cooperation, promote academic prosperity in the field of chemical engineering and technology, carry out interdisciplinary integration and industry-university-research collaborative innovation, and improve the global influence of Chinese chemical scholars. The first GCCES conference was held in Great Falls, Canada in 2009, and since then, it has been successfully held for 15 sessions using the mode of domestic and overseas hosting. It has been widely recognized and concerned by Chinese chemical scholars at home and abroad, and has become an interdisciplinary and high-level professional event for global Chinese chemical scholars.

We hope to continue the success of the previous GCCES Conference. We sincerely invite representatives from the chemical industry and related fields from all over the world, including science and technology, education, industry and industry association experts, to attend this conference and introduce the current hot issues and development trends of the world chemical industry. A series of issues such as international talent training strategy, industry-university-research integration development model, multi-disciplinary cross and integration, scientific and technological collaborative innovation and sustainable development of energy and environment, carbon neutrality are discussed, which play an important role in promoting the development of chemical engineering.

After more than ten years of development, GCCES has gradually formed the purpose of the conference with report as the "tool" and discussion as the "technique". Experts and scholars have promoted the knowledge popularization and integration of important directions of chemical industry with the unique "three-three system" report mode. This conference will continue the "Women Scientists Forum", "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum", "Contemporary Chemical Education High-end Forum", and the "Future Chemical Industry Forum", "Young Scholars Forum" and "Excellent Doctoral Student Forum" created for young talents in recent years. The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum" will add a special link of "transformation of technological achievements" to promote the sustainable development and innovation of the industry. In addition, satellite conferences of "Chemical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Forum" and "Women Scientists Forum" will be held in Ningbo and Suzhou on July 2 and August 9, 2024, respectively.

The speakers of "Future Chemical Forum" will be selected by the Academic Committee; The speaker of "Excellent Doctoral Student Forum" will be recommended by the organizer of this conference; The speakers of the "Young Scholars Forum" are recommended by the candidates themselves and jointly recommended by the academic committee and previous future chemical scholars; "Chemical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Forum" is the 16th International Green Energy Conference invited GACCE special forum, inviting experts from the same industry to attend; The speakers of the "Women Scientists Forum" include the winners of the Global Chemical Outstanding Young Women Scientists Award and special guests in the industry; At the same time, the conference arranged wall paper exhibition. The subject directions presented at the conference include (but are not limited to) : Transfer and Molecular Engineering, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Catalysis and Reaction Engineering, Biocatalysis and Transformation, Separation Science and Engineering, Chemical Processes and Systems, Energy and Chemical Engineering, Molecular and biomolecular Engineering, Medical Materials and Engineering, Environmental Materials and Engineering, Process Strengthening and Safety, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Chemical Frontier Technology, Chemical Education. Experts and scholars are kindly requested to register for the conference. The deadline for submission and registration of the report title is July 10, 2024. The deadline for registration is July 1, 2024.
