The university has carried out strategic cooperation with QIBEBT

On May 13, Liu Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the School, took the team with Liu Xinmei, dean of our college to visit Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (QIBEBT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Both sides signed cooperation agreements and held discussions to promote the integration of science and education.

Lv Xuefeng, Deputy Director of QIBEBT, received Liu Huadong. Lv Xuefeng introduced the research situation from the aspects of talent team, scientific and technological innovation, platform construction, and domestic cooperation, and said that Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Process Research and China University of Petroleum had a good foundation for cooperation in the early stage. He hoped that the two sides would take this signing as an opportunity to carry out wider and deeper cooperation.

Liu Huadong said that China University of Petroleum had trained a large number of outstanding talents and made a number of key scientific research achievements, which supported the development of the oil industry. In the history of running a school, the cooperation between schools and enterprises has always been paid attention to, and the pursuit of cultivating “ four solid talents ” with simple style, solid foundation, real ability and full development has been pursued. Among them, the “ elite class ” of chemical engineering and technology specialty jointly built by the two sides has cultivated a large number of high-level research talents in the field of chemical engineering with solid theoretical foundation and distinctive professional characteristics. It is hoped that on this basis, the two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation and achieve common development.

Hou Yingfei, Director of Education Department, Wang Xiaomei, Director of Cooperative Development Department, Cai Baoping, Director of Graduate School Training Office, Yu Bing, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department, carried out in-depth exchanges around undergraduate talent training, graduate joint training, school cooperation, and scientific research achievements transformation, which provided a solid guarantee for the further expansion and deepening of cooperation.
