Alumni Sha Guohe was awarded " Most Beautiful Scientists and Technological Workers "

On November 5th, “Most Beautiful Scientists and Technological Workers in 2021” and their advanced deeds are released by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, China Association for Science and Technology, The Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the State Administration of Science and Industry for National Defense.

Academician Sha Guohe, our alumni, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and research fellow of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, received the award.

Academician Sha Guohe is mainly engaged research in laser chemistry, molecular dynamics and chemical laser, and has made many creative contributions. He has won the Second prize of State Natural Science Award, The Ho Leung Ho Li Science and Technology Progress Award, and the National Advanced Worker in Science Popularization. Over the past 20 years, he has devoted himself to popularize scientific knowledge for teenagers, designed and built dozens of experimental devices for science popularization, and brought more than 1,000 science popularization classes to dozens of primary and secondary schools. Under his leadership, the country's first scientific science academician workstation was completed, which is open to young people every week to popularize scientific knowledge.

The Most Beautiful Scientists and Technological Workers has been held since 2018 for 4 consecutive sessions, 10 advanced individuals were selected each year. Through this event, to create a strong atmosphere of respect for labor, respect for knowledge, respect for talent, respect for creation in the whole society, and encourage the majority of science and technology workers to take the most beautiful science and technology workers as an example.
