[1] Basic research on preparation technology of mesophase pitch, spinnable isotropic pitch, impregnated pitch and coated pitch, etc.

[2] Basic research on preparation technology of high-performance pitch-based carbon fiber, general-purpose pitch-based carbon fiber and lignin based carbon fiber.

[3] Basic research on preparation technology of needle coke for ultra-high power graphite electrodes, anode coke for lithium ion batteries and silicon-carbon anode materials.
